The Unknown is the Realm of Unlimited Potential

The next, unseen step can feel scary and daunting. Humans are wired to be cautious and to fear the unknown, but the most inspiring moments present themselves when we take the first step with trust and confidence.

As a Virgo, I adore order. I crave predictability. I'm talking, I Look Up the Menu of a Restaurant the Day Before We Eat There brand of predictability. I need to know the temperature of the water before I even stick a toe in type of predictable. My planners have their own planners, because I am the ultimate planner. The Unknown? Who is she? And who invited her to my party?

If you don't like not knowing what the next step holds for you, I get it. I am right there with you, holding your hand. But, and this is a big BUT - inspiration rarely hits in the realm of the predictable and knowable. Predictability breeds comfort, because of course it does. Predictability feels like a cozy blanket. When life becomes predictable, satisfactory becomes the existential homeostasis and that is perfectly fine.

Until it isn't.

At a certain point, comfort no longer feels comfortable. Average feels unbearable, and simply getting along to go along feels like prison. This is when the soul awakens and yearns for better, and when the next step towards the unknown feels like a beautiful breaking of a doldrum routine. I recently learned that leaning into the unknown is the only way I will be able to rediscover and fine-tune my gifts and talents. It's where the inspiration that once lay dormant sparks a fresh source of luminescence guiding me towards the next level of my potential.

Stepping outside that comfort zone can spark creativity and growth. Embracing the unknown, even just a little, can lead to unexpected adventures and insights. It's in those moments of uncertainty that we often discover new passions and strengths we didn't know we had. So, while I cherish my planners and detailed itineraries, I also recognize the beauty that can arise from spontaneity. Life isn't solely about following a script; it’s about weaving in threads of unpredictability that can enrich our experiences.

If this is something you struggle with, I am here to guide you through it. We'd be taking that leap together, exploring the possibilities that lie beyond the comfort of order. After all, a little chaos can lead to the most memorable outcomes.
